In orchards and vineyards, the ideal time to use LITE-SOIL products is when new plantations are planted.
LITE-NET growing nets are used around the root ball to store and distribute air and water. In addition, LITE-STRIPS are primarily used as water storage and LITE-NET is installed over a large area as a water and air distributor at the root level. The BLUELITE-NET system is also ideal for active underground irrigation!
LITE-SOIL products can be retrofitted at a slightly lower installation depth (e.g. 10-20 cm). The LITE-NET is easy to cut and can therefore be easily laid around existing plants.
Our cost-effective active underground irrigation system BLUELITE-AGRI, a fleece-covered hose that can be laid in the ground without a distribution network, was specially designed for retrofitting to existing plantings and for larger green areas and fields. The easiest way to lay it is to use devices for slotted drainage.
Since the very water-saving underground irrigation of the BLUELITE-NET system results in far less matting of the earth’s surface and less compaction of the soil with the mixed fleece variants, the topsoil does not need to be worked on at all or much less. However, if the surface is mechanically loosened or aerified, the drip pipes must be laid below the working depth.
Water consumption and the use of fertiliser can be minimised through the targeted supply. This also leads to a significant reduction of water pollution.
