Installation Lite-Net City of Linz, Donaulände

Our Lite-Net was used at Donaulände in the Upper Austrian state capital Linz for moving large trees and planting new trees.

For planting new trees the Lite-Net was used as a vegetation net, placed directly around the root bales. In addition, the Lite-Net was installed along the walls of the tree pit serving as a tree roots screen.

When moving the large trees the Lite-Net was fully inserted as a tree roots net into the tree pit and was lifted up to the surface. There it absorbs air and water in order to spread it most quickly and extensively at root level. Alternatively the Lite-Net was used as a kind of tree roots screen.
